The definitive destination for NASA lunar science. This high profile website ranks consistently in the top 10 NASA websites for page views and sessions. Lunar science topics and features, from phases to eclipses, are explained to the public with curated resources and visual explainers.
International Observe the Moon Night is NASA’s annual celebration of lunar observation, science, and exploration. The annual event has expanded since 2010, reaching over 125 countries, all 7 continents, and over 1 million participants each year. (Estimated from registration data, host survey data, and social media data)
My role: content creation and curation, website authoring in NASA’s WordPress platform, design for digital and print products (branding for Observe the Moon campaign, visual explainers, outreach materials, social media); coordination and QA testing for site migration and interactive products, such as the Daily Moon Guide.
